We stayed for 3 nights at Rachamankha and loved every minute. From the gorgeous property, including traditional grounds / buildings, gorgeous pool and relaxing spaces in which to hang, everything was nearly perfect. The staff are delightful, the restaurant is exquisite (breakfast is good and then we stumbled upon their vegetarian prix fixe menu - unreal if you are a... More

sometimes 'boutique' can be code for 'shoddy' or even a pre-apology for not being as nice as you would expect. when it comes to the rachamankha, boutique means 'zen-like perfection.' i wouldnt recommend this for spring break, but if youre looking for a calming location in the center of the old downtown area, this is your spot. the entire facility... We spent six nights here and absolutely loved our time. It's a really beautiful hotel, exquisitely designed and set in stunning grounds and with a gorgeous swimming pool. Every aspect has been careful thought through and the end result is really exceptional. Fantastic food and lovely rooms filled with beautiful antique furniture. And any hotel that has free brandy in... More

Beautifully appointed hotel that has it all. What a fantastic surprise that awaited us when we booked into this boutique hotel. You can walk to night markets, Sunday walking markets, temples but peaceful and quiet. The rooms have tv, safe, ironing board, free wifi with comfortable bedding and good lights for reading. A beautiful pool and delightful gardens. The staff... More

I just came back from my second trip to Chiangmai in three months. This time with my husband. We're so glad to have chosen Rachamankha as the first hotel we stayed there (we then moved to Ping Nakaya for a change). We could just stayed in the hotel for our trip. In fact, we spent the afternoons entirely in the... More

This lovely hotel is within a sliver of reaching that top level! But, to be fair, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer hotel of this genre/price in Chiang Mai and certainly you would have difficulty finding one with such exquisite food. Without having to detail all of its pluses, and they overwhelm the negatives, as you can read... More

The best accomodation in Chiang Mai. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We stayed in the deluxe king room upstairs. I loved everything here. The food at the restaurant was so cheap for the 5 star quality. The staff in the restaurant went out of there way to make dining there a special experience. You need to book early as... More

A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai, with beautiful lanna architecture, pool, rooms and real antiques, and a wonderful staff to care for your every need. Located in the cultural heart of Chiang Mai, within walking distance to Temples and the Walking Street. No other hotel compares anywhere in Thailand. Rachamankha is a true Northern Thai experience... Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. Asian aesthetics in a peaceful setting, yet close to temples and sights of the old city. Best hotel of our trip throughout SE Asia. If I am ever back in this part of the world, there would be no need to look at other hotels, as most would pale in comparison to Rachamanka.

I really enjoyed my stay at Rachmankha. It's a lovely boutique hotel designed in the old school Lanna style. The hotel grounds are very serene and everywhere you turn the property is filled with amazing, beautiful antiques. The staff are great - super friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help your stay as enjoyable as possible. We... More
