The original British consulate on the Ping River. Lovely setting, calm and quiet despite being right on the road. Rooms clean, staff very friendly and efficient. Pool small but sufficient (kind of long and slim). Great base for walking round Chiang Mai and getting river cruises

Dear KarenPUAE, Thank you for staying at The Chedi Chiang Mai and for sharing your experience. Looking for a larger pool? We recommend The Chedi Muscat in Oman who has the longest pool in the Middle East at 103 meters!!! Happy traveling. Andy Kunz General Manager More

My partner and I made The Chedi our first stop ever in Thailand and it was simply perfect. What a beautiful, peaceful way to start and enjoy a vacation after traveling many hours. Definitely go for the Chedi Club rooms, as they are spacious and include incredible amenities... Gourmet-style breakfasts, evening canapé and drinks, in-room bar, laundry. But best of... More

This was our first hotel in Thailand we stayed and we were really impressed! The hotel is very modern and just wonderfully designed. It's very convenient and close to a lot of restaurants and night markets. The breakfast is amazing! We got the Suite deluxe since it was our honeymoon, and we were able to order anything we wanted during... More

It is our first time at the Chedi Chiang Mai, it is a hotel I would describe as out of this world. The service is fantastic and every member of staff always made us feel comfortable/well looked after simply by being helpful, informative and friendly whilst keeping a distance so they weren’t constantly giving us the feeling of intrusion. Nothing... More

The service at Chedi is top notch, the property and rooms are beautiful, and the included breakfast was fantastic. There isn't much more I can say that is not already written in everyone else's reviews. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and for the price, this is the best value. We couldn't believe how... More

Fantastic hotel located on the Mae Ping River at the site of the former British Consulate. The hotel has a good location and is a short walk to the night bazaar. It is a bit of a walk to the old town, however there are a number of taxis and tuk tuks a couple of blocks away from the hotel's... More

We loved our short stay at the Chedi Chiang Mai. This was our first experience at a Singapore-based GHM brand hotel, and we came away extremely impressed. The architecture and landscaping made the Chedi an idyllic oasis in bustling east Chiang Mai. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and we found the breakfast buffet (with a large made to... I think the Chedi in Chiang Mai might just be my all time fave hotel. We recently spent 3 nights at the Chedi during our visit to Thailand and we had a fabulous time, I just wished we had booked longer. Start from reception , staff are very friendly and well train. Room is very well organize and decorated except the light is a bit dark . This hoetl is proper for relaxation . I recommend to stay for the last night after the sightseeing in Chiangmai to get the good experience especially the club room.
