I was planning on staying only a couple nights and ended up staying a week. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and modern. It is also in a great central location, steps away from the night market and one of the central gates. I would recommend it.

FACTS Positive: * big room * good breakfast (choise of thai and european food) * friendly staff * good location * swiming pool (hotel provides towels) Negative: * wifi avialable only in the lobby * small ants on the breakfast buffet table * only one electric plug was working in my room * plastic plates used for breakfast

We booked this hotel from Bangkok as we were arriving late at night. It was just ok. The room had a very odd layout but was clean enough. The pool are was very nice. The breakfast was not great. We only stayed two nights and then changed hotels.

A handy hotel within walking distance of most sites. We were in the cheap corridor - tiled floors as opposed to carpet so quite noisy. The CM Gate Hotel is a very nice Hotel, but it is getting a bit run down and could use some sprucing up!! We have stayed here for the last five years usually for 3-5 months.
