we spontaniously changed from kho samui to chaing mai. because a nice israeli couple recommended us to make a traking tour in the north starting from chiang mai. they also recommended us a hotel - the paradise hotel. but this was for us a to much noisy, warm and dirty version of the paradise. so we were stucked up in a hotel which was the worst be could imagin. we're tumbled around the city and passed the felix city inn. and from the moment we're steped into the hotel our holiday continued. they aranged averyting for us: picked up the belongings from "paradise" and told them only to charge a half day, arranged a wonderful traking tour,.... A thousand thanks to Mr. Sawadekon!!! (don't remember how to write his name, sorry)
