We stayed at Baan Rai Lanna for 2 nights this year, as we did last year, as a break on our cycling trip. The rooms are tasteful, clean and comfortable, the manager and staff extremely kind and thoughtful, and the location is charming. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Baan Rai for 2 nights as part of a self-guided bike tour with Click and Travel. The caretakers were very welcoming and friendly when we arrived. They immediately gave us a welcome drink and showed us to our room, which was much appreciated after a long, hot bike ride. We stayed at the topmost villa which was... More

We stayed here as part of our organised two-day cycle tour with clickandtravel, so the resort was part of the tour. We were not disappointed. It was quiet, being in the middle of nowhere, and the views were amazing. The food in the evening was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. The infinity pool was good. Our bungalow was... More

Room in modern style and was very clean. Staff are nice and helpful. But the place is quite far from the main road (sign can be improved as it is quite difficult to find the entrance). I would fully recommend this resort if you like quiet and relax atmosphere.

We are on a one week self guided trip out of Chaing Mai and to date we have stayed at four resorts and this is the best. Very laid back, beautiful gardens and pool, terrific room . The staff are caring and the food excellent.

We spent just one night at this lovely place and wished we had more time. Just 6 cabines, beautifull decorated. Nice small pool, beautifull views. Yes, it is remote and there is nothing else to do but hiking and biking and spending lazy afternoons in the garden. But that's the whole idea!

Even if i'm in the South of Thailand or even at Koh Samui or Isarn, i must go to the North of Thailand, Lanna. Some 7 years ago i was cycling around in Lanna, advised by Etienne Daniels from "clickandtravel" cyclingtours, and discovered this unspoiled pearl in the middle of the Northern Thai countryside!! Away from the hullabaloo of the... More

This is an interested property and the whether it is a good match will relate to the guest and their style and expectations. Firstly, I enjoyed my stay for no other reason than the sensation of being a cool wilderness area in a cabin which is a nice escape from city life. The air was brisk at night and it... More

What a beautiful place in a lush green environment with bird songs and insect songs all day and all night long. It is very quietly located with only some poor houses in the vicinity and a 2 km walk I think to a rahter busy main road to Pai, which is about 100 km further. There they also have a... More
