I just returned from a trip to Chiang Mai and enjoyed every minute of my stay at the Muang Gudi Lodge.
It is away from the hustle and bustle of the central city area and very peaceful and charming yet close enough to make it convenient for inner-city activities and sightseeing.
The staff/owner were amazing, so helpful and attentive it was a pleasure to be a guest at the lodge. The value was great, they also provide free airport pickups and drop-offs which makes life easy after potential long flights and connections.
Breakfasts were wonderful, the pool was very refreshing after a day of hot sightseeing and they had bikes that we were able to loan to explore the local area.
We had massages twice in their on-site facility and they were provided at short notice and at very affordable rates (less than half the price of spa facilities nearby and more 'traditional')
The design aesthetic was amazing and kudos to the owner to whom this credit is deserved - a little touch... more
