This could be a great hotel. The rooms are very new, attractive, and comfortable. The Tweechol gardens (included with room) are lovely and large - easily worth a full day or two half-days of touring. Just being in Chiang Mai, Thailand was a totally different experience, and the Horizon Resort was part of it. I would strongly recommend staying there. It is the perfect place for a honey moon, family vacation or a conference with your company. We found this hotel to be an oasis away from the busy city..and our only complaint is the distance into town. Thankfully the hotel realizes this and offers free shuttle service into Chiang Mai...however it is only in the evening. Another time or two in the day would be great!! Truly a boutique resort with lovely ambience, welcoming and caring General Manager. Inviting paddy fields, fish ponds & fair size botanical garden to roam or bike about.
