Recently stayed at the Manathai Village for four nights. The location of the property was excellent. It was far away from all of the major streets that the site was very quiet. The hotel was surrounded my winding one way roads. However, the property was centrally located and it was just a 5-10 minute walk to plenty of restaurants, bars... More

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at Manathai. We had a large bedroom on the first floor (end), with a a bathroom /dresser and a balcony. It felt spacious and airy. The hotel is small and has an intimate feel about it, which we really liked. A lot of thoughts have gone in the creating a decor that... More

Has been a couple of years since we were last at Manathai -.Village. With this trip a bit rushed we missed our preferred option of Ping Nakara. Manathai is a very central small hotel with sprawling Thai style bungalows. Our room a junior suite which was a little dark, being ground floor and lacked ventilation as no windows. Small by... More

When we first walked in I was extremely impressed, the decor was stunning. We were given drinks and towels and shown to our room which was lovely! We had an outdoor desk over looking the pool, four poster bed, all mod cons, lovely bathroom with stand alone bath and huge shower, you could borrow DVDs which we did one night,... More

Traditional Thai decor and a beautiful swimming pool is what greets you on arrival at Manathai. Stayed with my 13 year old son and we felt like celebrities with the fantastic service including a lovely welcome drink (some sort of exotic juice) and chilled towel folded in the shaped of a flower - so elegant, so charming. Rooms were a... More

The hotel/resort looks really nice – right from the entrance from the mysterious little street the open house reception gives you a great lounge like feeling that is extremely comforting/welcoming. Everything is kept immaculate and thought through - there is very little to flaw on appearance . The restaurant however has two problems – on the food side everything is... More

Beautiful place in a very good location. Not so secluded that you feel like on another planet. Nice to have breakfast by the small pool. More

Manathai Village is a great little stay in Chiang Mai. The interior is gorgeous with a beautiful pool and water running around the outskirts. There were a great many Koi swimming in the pools which gave the hotel a sense of tranquility and peacefulness. The breakfast buffet was extremely good with a wonderful arrangement of Western and Thai food. The... More

I stayed in the Manathai village as part of a cycling trip from Chiang Mai to Bangkok with SPICEROADS. This was my first hotel stopover and first time in Thailand. On arrival the staff were very friendly and greeted you with a welcome herbal soft drink and cool towel. Just what was needed after a 20 mins drive from the... More

Mana Thai was the highlight of our Chiangmai vacation. Finding it was a little tricky. It was a treasure hidden away in some alleyway. Once inside, it's a gem! We had a ground floor unit next to the pool. We had a toddler then and he enjoyed the pool as much as the concrete tub in our room. We love... More
