Hotel Oasis is a relatively small hotel which means that they can offer personal attention to their guests. My friend fractured her knee while in Chiang Mai, which meant that we needed approval from the insurance company in order to fly home early. The staff at the Oasis assisted me for three days with fax, telephone, and email communication with insurance company. There were always several friendly staff persons going out of their way to make our stay more pleasant. I ate all meals at the hotel and was delighted with the quality of the "cooked to order" meals. The Assistant Manager allowed me to upgrade to a suite since I spent so many hours at the hotel. My rooms were bright, cheery, and clean. There was a large staff who worked constantly to keep the hotel spotless.

At times, I sat out in the garden by the swimming pool. It was too cool to take a swim...but, the pool looked very inviting.
