Probably what we liked the most was the view from the restuarant area. We stayed in a delux room, which was reasonably spacious & clean, and OK value for the price we paid (1200 bhat per night with breakfast).... and was probably more comfortable than the Swiss cottages which were quite sparsely furnished inside. The garden was nice, though what... more

I stumbled upon the pictures of Touch Star Resort on the internet and instantly decided that this was the place I wanted to stay in during my visit in Chaing Mai and Chiang Rai. I booked directly by calling the resort. The entire resort and its surroundings have a great feeling of pease and serenity, I'd say a nice getaway... more

The resort is located on the road to Doi Inthanon - practically next to the first checkpoint. Resort not very large, very nice premises. Free wifi in the vicinity of the reception hut. The 'single cottage' rather small but comfortable with the exception of the hardest bed I have ever slept on. Bathroom ok. Hot water might turn out not... more
