great hotel - good sized rooms, nicely furnished, duvets rather than thin blanket, good friendly service. bathroom is basic, no real toiletries besides some body wash and shampoo. only english channels were HBO and CNN. breakfast was not the best, very limited. made to order eggs but quality wasn't flash. although there's heaps of eating options around the area anyway.... more

This is a nice hotel in the noisiest area of Lamai. Bars are at either side and a the Fusion club is very close. After staying on the quiet side of Samui on Bophut Beach I moved to Lamai Beach to be closer to shopping and restaurants. I chose Am Samui Palace as it was only 1 year old.
