Quaint rustic little place. Came here for a spa service. Nice little dip pool and sauna, with very peaceful environment. Located in the middle of a forest, nice authentic nature sounds (birds, water, crickets). Very surreal feeling. Only let down was the service. Massage was actually quite decent except for the times when the masseur had to leave halfway to... More

This lovely place is a haven, away from the traffic and tourist mecca but still only a short walk to Fisherman's Village and the beach. Spacious room and huge bathroom, fridge, A/C. Lovely large pool, Spa facilities. It is off the beaten track and up a lane from the main road (the tuk tuk does not come up here, but... More

Sunday's Sanctuary is is named perfectly - it is definitely a sanctuary!! We came for a few days and extended our stay for two weeks, because we were enjoying it so much. It is a 15 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of the fisherman's village, but they rent scooters for 250 B per day, which is a great... More

As soon as we entered, I thought we were in the wrong place. It was just so beautiful and even better than I imagined. You are hidden away off this little road and I felt like we were in the middle of a rainforest, yet you have the beach 5 minutes away. We had mopeds so it was easy to... More

my husband and I had orignally booked a room at this hotel for just two days, after only one day we both decided to stay another 2 days. The rooms are clean, beds are unique and comfy after a long day of walking. The bathroom's are CLEAN and huge. very close to the beach, dinning and shopping all within walking... More

It was the perfect exotic experience. Beautiful pool, nice, big rooms, polite service. I definetely recommend renting a scooter while staying there. I would only change the choice of breakfast, starting every morning with egg sandwich or jam was a bit boring.

We'd read mainly good reviews on this hotel and can only imagine that the couple of bad ones were very old. Everything from the jungle like setting to the cool contemporary design of the general areas and the rooms were a nice treat for the budget we were on. It's not a huge hotel so never overcrowded and we quite... More

Yes, it is a bit far from the happening area but if all you need is rest and a place to feel at peace, this is the perfect place to go. There's a big pool surrounded with trees. Rooms are huge, well kept and private. Toilets are huge too. Bags and towels are provided for outside hotel use. Aside from the... More

It's well-designed, resort is a great budget way to experience the kind of tranquility usually associated with luxury spa resorts, for which you can easy pay five to ten times more than The Sundays. It's not luxury, but it makes great use of the space. Very nice swimming pool, spacious villas/bungalows, and it's pretty stylish in its class. Only ten... More
