Following a dreadful experience at the Chaweng Resort, we moved over the road to the Green LIfe Hotel, which from the outside, looked clean & new.
This was a welcome change, as the hotel was built in the summer of 2005, so everything is new.
It's a fairly small hotel, perhaps even coming under the description of a Guest House. There were only about a dozen rooms open, but I beleive they may be doubling this in 2006.
We payed a walk-in rate of THB1200 per night (incl breakfast), which for the standard, we thought was good.
The hotel does not have a pool, so best to use it as a base, rather than a place to relax, however there is a small bar, wireless internet access, (which appeared to be free to residents), and a communal lounge area.
The staff were very friendly, and spoke reasonable English, and the Western style breakfast of bacon, eggs etc, were far better than I tasted at home.
