We are generally skeptical of one extremely negative review on Trip Advisor amidst several positive reviews. As such, we booked one night at the Koh Samui beach apartments notwithstanding the recent review describing a bloodstained mattress in the room. Blood stains in the bed and devastating odors in the bathroom. Please stay away! Both the hotel and the booking agent LateStays.com, refused to assist in the matter. The owner, who is spoken highly of in reviews, is apparently unavailable since it is the weekend. Even though check in said there were vacancies last night, miraculously, there are no available... more

A great alternative to the busy area of Chaweng beach. Located on the South end of the Island, this is the quieter area. I last stayed at Samui Beach Apartments in September `05 Samui Beach Apartments are a very viable alternative to the bungalows that are so popular on Koh Samui as you get the best of both worlds because you share full facilities with Seascape Bungalows eg pool ,deckchairs (pool & beach ) & restaurant facilities but with so much more living... more
