Positives.. Quiet location & room but 30 minute walk from the main part - ok for me or a short cheap ride. Decent size room & good size Balcony. Absolutely loved our stay at AKWA Guesthouse. The room was clean and very uniquely decorated which was a nice change. Unlike any of the other hotels we've stayed at in SE Asia. We stayed here with a couple of friends in two rooms. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Beach is just across the street. Very helpful staff and great breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended.

All I can say about this hotel is that it is fairly central in Chaweng and I suppose is reasonable value for money, although in saying that I have to admit to having stayed in cheaper and much better accommodation in Samui. I would not stay here again.

I was a bit disappointed! Our room was clean and we had a quite big room. But the staff dont understand a word in english. The restaurant is really expensive and we can hear the music that was really loud until late!! The service is juste really bad!!
