i recently had the misfortune to spend 4 nights at Gazebo hip resort in Pattaya,Thailand. From the beginning the hotel is located down a alley in what can only be described as a slum. The hotel itself looks ok and the gardens and pool are quiet attractive.
Our first room was filled with mosqitoes so we asked for a can of spray to be brought up to our room. Then when we went to have a shower the water trickled out of the showerhead and ran down the wall. I then asked for a new room. no problem they gave us a room which had just been renovated. This room was actually very acceptable.
The next day also got off to a bad start. We went down to breakfast the buffet was on the ground floor and the tables were set up in the carpark.
After lunch we headed to the pool as i walked down the steps i stepped on a broken beer bottle on the pool floor.
All up the worst hotel stay of my life. more
