Spent for the 'executive' upgrade package. Rooms were redone but not kept up, dingy room with older appliances. I am Platinum with Marriott and stay at this hotel at least 4 or more times every year. I have never had an issue at the hotel. We recently spent 4 nights at the pattaya marriot, for location I think it is unbeatable. With direct access to the beach front through the pool and into the adjacent shopping mall its was the perfect location. This hotel is very nice. The design and layout is fantastic. I paid $300 us a night and thought the room was fantastic. It had a nice bed, and very nice bathroom. I felt, however, that the price was too high. Although I did expected the high price from Marriot. THe pool was magnificent! I do recommend the hotel only... more
