I stayed in Cholchan for three weeks while on business travel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Most spoke enough English that it was easy to communicate. The hotel is described as not being too far from patayya centre, however it is situated on the side of a dual carriageway. Staff not as friendly as the usual "thai smile" you come to expect from Thai hotels. Not allowed to plug irons in the bedroom and are forced to use the in-house laundry service. simply cant fault the hotel and the resort itself, the staff, the people, just everything was first class. Pattaya central where all the bars and shopping malls are, was about ten minutes away by hotel bus, its definately an eyeopener. Spent 8 nihgts at the Cholchan - loverly hotel - very clean and rooms very spacious with really pretty decor. Our room overlooked the pool and a section of the beach.
