Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Love this hotel. This is probably our 10th visit. It’s got everything you need. The large pool has a marvellous atmosphere which brings back the same familiar faces every year. But increasingly large numbers of stray men are coming in daily to use the facilities, they use towells, beds and umbrellas. This is really not fair on paying customers. Plus the poolside music is totally unnecessary as it’s just a noise. Apart from these niggles it’s a great oasis in the centre of Pattaya.

Recently renovated mid price hotel close to Soi Bukhao. Two lovely swimming pools and a nice gym. Room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was clean with a nice shower. Wide selection of food at breakfast. Have already booked to stay there again later this month.

Great hotel, great location, but too many Non residents using the facilities to the detriment of the paying customers. Anybody just seems to just walk in or ride in whenever they want to .Security ot both front and back is non existent (nobody is ever challenged by so called guards.) Needs sorting out quickly, not fair on guest and very annoying to people who are entitled to use facilities.

We stayed over Christmas for 5 nights in executive room. (Areca building). Great room lots of space. Bath with shower rather than cubicle. I really like this hotel, it’s location is close to everything but seems set back so you don’t hear the noise of Pattaya nightlife. Breakfast nice, enough to set you up for day, was very busy but we were there Xmas. Food at restaurants and pool bar delicious and not too expensive, plenty to choose from. My favourite spot was the beer garden at front of hotel, nice seating set back where you can watch the craziness of Pattaya with a cold beer. Gym my husband used daily, he said was little old & tired but adequate & enough equipment to get a decent gym session in. I love it here, we have been using this hotel for years and I’ve always had a brilliant stay, so much so I’ll be returning with my family in March. Staff here are lovely & some faces have been here many years which I think speaks for itself.

Another good stay at this hotel, in the heart of all the action. Once again booked one of the big Japanese style rooms. Decent standard apart from maybe the fact that the shower is in the bath. No problem to me but not good for the older travellers. Nice big comfy bed. The room is in the evergreen block, which is usually very quiet. We made good use of the swimming pools and the buffet style breakfast. All round good stay again.

The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are being updated and mine was fantastic, the pools are big clean and had great outdoor furniture. However the hotel seems to be run by the cleaning staff as they bark at you demanding you have lost empty bottles off water and shout that you must find.. i complained to the front desk on one occasion but heard no more about it ,. So I was quite happy until check out, then the saga happens again. I had tried to extend my stay but they where booked out out for a few days so moved to another hotel for a few days with the intention of booking a further 14 nights at the Areca lodge. But as the cleaning staff seem to be more important than guest I will extend at the Holiday inn instead

Have stayed here a number of times and have always enjoyed my vacation.Impressive frontage and reception area just yards away from the very lively LK Metro. The hotel is split into three blocks. One above and around reception area with pool, the second block is my favourite in the middle of the hotel with nice swimming pool and bar area for drinks and food. This time I stayed in the third block towards the back of the hotel which felt a little away from the hotel but was pleasant enough.Room large with balcony but not overlooking the pool.Breakfast decent enough. Overall a pleasant stay.
