After my Girlfriend was treated like a bargirl and asked for her ID several times we decided to leave the place. The rooms are nice and the pool is also nice. But the customers are quite low level, mostly indian and arab sex tourists. more

Be prepared for noise from the corridors and banging doors. I know if your staying in a place like Pattaya you can`t expect ` peace and tranquility` but the noise from the corridors and doors banging late at night were truly awful, it sounded at times as though the people outside the rooms were at the foot of your bed... more

Stayed at the Nova for 6 nights at the beginning of June. Had trouble booking the room on the Net as the payment engine would not load. Called the hotel and booked the Net rate over the phone, no problem. Room was nice, especially good bed and decent size flatscreen TV. 5 minutes walk to Walking Street and the action.... more

Overall, I enjoyed Nova Platinum -- not luxurious, but comfortable. I stayed in April 2009, a particularly hot time of year, so the lack of A/C in the hallways and elevator was noticeable. stayed there last weend. got a room in the new wing. fancy looking lobby, nicely appointed room (room number xx08), rain shower, 32" flat screens, freshly cooked eggs at the buffet, friendly staff. and all this just meters away from pier to islands or nightlife in walking street. the restaurant with openair tables near the pool is a really nice... more
