We stayed at The Palms Kamala twice in Sept 09. We were there for a week initally in a 2-bed apartment on the ground floor with direct access off the balcany to the swimming pool. The Palms Resort is a modern, well run, friendly hotel, with caring staff. There was need to visit any other towns or beaches since everything is available in-house. Excellent restaurant, pool, gym, bar are all situated in The Palms. Four minute walk to the beach completed a delightful holiday. more
this was my 4th time in kamala, and i usualy stay at the kamala beach hotel but as this was closed for refurb, we decided to book into the palms, we were very pleasently suprised, room consisted of 2 bedrooms 1 double 1twin, fully fitted kitchen area right down to a steam iron, breakfast bar and and dinning table so... more
almost brand new apartments very close to/in town centre and beach you couldnt ask for more from the apartments pool was ideal for kids and lots of families with young children good value friday night bbq on a more restricted budget next time but would be back otherwise one of the best esablishments in kamala!! more
Having been to Kamala on several occasions (staying at the Kamala beach Hotel), we decided on The Palms as it was better for us with a 13 year old son as the apartments have 2 bedrooms. It is in a great location, literally steps from the lovely Kamala beach (& it is at the quieter end which is nicer too)... more
Booked on latestays.com for a very decent price. All suites have two bedrooms so the website can be a bit misleading when it offers one and two bedroom options. I think when you put in the number of people staying, it should give you a one or two bedroom price, ie. 2 ppl - 1 bedroom, 3ppl - 2 bedroom.... more
Having recently visited The Palms, Kamala Beach I can only say what a lovely spacious family place to stay. The modern 2 bedroom apartments were ideal for us with a family of 4, and after the kids were in bed, we could relax in the comfortable lounge.
