The hostel was nice enough--relatively clean rooms, DVD players (awesome), and a friendly staff. That being said, Phuket town is totally dead and there's no reason to stop there as a stop off on the way to the actual beach life. more

If you are leaving Phuket by bus this is an excellent location because you are close to the local bus routes and not far from the large bus terminal. The hostel was clean and had the usual flashpacker amenities like internet, in house food and a TV room. There is a day market nearly across the street. more

I found this place quite by chance while looking for budget accommodations in Phuket. It is a gem. It is very clean, large and spacious. It is NOT walking distance from the bus station especially with bags, unless you like very long walks.
