The Suoi Cat Hotel was just opened when we stayed in July 2008 and felt we were the first to use the room. Although furniture in room are cheap and the entrance was semi blocked by a small shop outside, the hotel is clean and new. It is nearer to the Dalat Market and the beautiful central lake than the Novotel we stayed earlier.
Our room was a VIP which was big and cost 500,000 VND (about 30 US$) per night including breakfast. There was no carpet but they provided slippers. The bed sheet, blanket and pillows are very white, good quality and brand new. There was a standing shower but no bathtub.
Their regular rooms were a bit smaller and cost 200,000 and 300,000 VND. Our VIP Room was not a lot better but had city view. The restaurant is big compared with the hotel size, so it looks like they mainly cater to restaurant guests.
They have a website.
Dalat is very cool even in summer.
