My daughter and I arrived in Da Lat during a busy weekend. The hotel we hoped to stay in was full, as were the next three we contacted. Eventually we ended up at Golf 1 for 2 nights. It's a bit out of town - down a steep hill and back up some more steep hills to get near the centre - but otherwise our stay was very enjoyable. The view out the restaurant window (& I suspect from rooms on the same side) was across a small valley of farmed fields and was lovely. In the other direction, of course, was the huge golf course. Just down the hill is the lake, no more than a few minutes stroll. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The service was friendly and very helpful, although as with most places in Vietnam language can be a bit of a barrier. Taxis arrived within minutes of being called and the staff helped us with fees and directions. Breakfast is included in the rate and consisted of a big buffet spread with plenty of choice.
