You know you have selected the right hotel when you meet the the front desk staff who welcome you. The hotel has very clean rooms, good breakfast included in the modest tarrif, and a good in house resturant. Great location in old quarter, only short walks to engage in the real Vietnam experience! The manager Tony and his staff do... more

This is probably the hotel with the best management I have been to (and I travel a lot). The entire staff at the reception were very nice and professional. In particular, Mr Toan was amazing, with excellent, professional, and very friendly service. Nothing was a problem for him, no matter how many times I changed my plans. I also appreciated... more

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful. The hotel staff were all so pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. With the added bonus of free internet and breakfast I felt it was excellent value for the money. I would certainly stay there again Maria, Canada more

We stayed 3 nights in total with a trip to Halong Bay organized by the hotel staff. All the arrangements were made via email before our arrival. They could not have been more helpful. Book a delux room (as they have a window) and all mod cons needed. We ate at the hotel 2 out of 3 nights as the... more

Rising Dragon II Hotel, Hanoi Vietnam The property and the rooms are kept super clean. The lobby staff speak English and were always ready to help with a smile. Free Internet in the lobby plus computers and a large flat screen Cable TV in the room. Terrific complementary breakfast daily. This small in-town hotel is located in a fabulous neighborhood... more

We've been to Hanoi before and stayed in many different hotels, from the really cheap ones to the expensive ones. This time we decided to stay here as it was recommended by a friend who knew some locals. And we're quite happy with the place. Its not a 5 star or grand hotel, but its a nice cosy place with... more

Wanting to escape and chill out from a horrendous year at work, and after travelling through Vietnam with friends in 2008 with Hanoi as the highlight, I decided to revisit Hanoi in 2009 for nine days and explore the city on my own. Being on my own, I wanted to stay somewhere nicer (the hotel from the 2008 stay was... more

My husband and I stayed at the Rising Dragon 2 Hotel, located in the Old Quarter of Hanoi City, from Friday 13th November for 7 days. We consider ourselves reasonably seasoned travellers, and are in total agreement that the Jewel in the Crown of our trip has to be our hotel – the Rising Dragon 2 (RD2). What can I... more
