I still know Hanoi hotels are not better than Ho Chi Minh's but its much different. My friends (in Hanoi) have recommended me this hotel and i just went ahead. The room is good but service make me uncomfortable. The staffs there are not very friendly and hardly smile. We almost did everything themselves. Location is good, lovely place but... More

We arrived here feeling miserable after an all night bus from Dien Bien Phu but within a couple of minutes Ms Ngau, the smiling and helpful receptionist made us feel better! In addition to all the favourable comments by JCIV and 018Simone we would add that the recommendations about places to go and places to eat by Ms Ngau and... More

Excellent location on a small street in the middle of the old town, nice rooms, nice views from the 7th floor rooms, in room computer available, good prices. Perfect as long as you do not ask the reception desk to organize tours for you, especially in Sapa: you expect and pay (a lot) for a tourist coach and you end... More

Very close location! For $30 AUD a night you can't really go wrong! Clean, spacious rooms, wi fi, breakfast (eggs, French toast, cereal, juice and cooked noodles etc), fridge in room you don't really need much more :) Staff are helpful and not forceful and in your face like other places in Vietnam! Each room also has a plasma and... More

Stayed 3 nights in a large rear room - mostly quiet but some noicse from nearby construction site. Location is good, feels right in the centre of the old district down a small laneway off a busy street and can walk to most of the sights and the lake from here. It might be too busy and claustrphobic for some.... More

We stayed one night in this hotel, it was perfectly located in the center of the old town, not far from the lake and in a quiet passage. This is hard to find in Hanoi's old center. Staff was nice, the room was ok, nothing fancy but clean and basic, breakfast was included and cooked on demand (basic and ok).... More

I stayed here with my partner and our 2 daughters (20months and 7 years old). This is a lovely hotel in the old quarter. It's down a laneway so maybe a little quieter than some others, though the old quarter is generally a noisy, chaotic area. The ladies in reception were so lovely and they especially loved our little girls. The... More

Such a great experience I have had in Hanoi. After listening to my friends' advices with many positive comments I had decide to book two rooms there (we have four people all together) and I was not disappointed indeed. They were just so comfy, cozy with enthusiastic stuffs hence even we were going around all day, we felt being home.... More

excellent stay in the Prince Hanoi V hotel where the people are very nice and always ready to help. I was spending a few days in the hotel and really enjoyed the hospitality of the personnel. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. I recommend this hotel to any foreign people who are travelling to Hanoi.

My wife and I recently spent 8 nights at the Prince Hanoi V Hotel and couldn't have been more pleased. We had made a reservation at the Prince Hanoi Hotel through Hotels.com (having stayed there previously) However when we arrived in Hanoi we found that the Prince Hanoi had closed a couple of days before and instead we were offered...
