I stayed here on my second trip to Hanoi. It's a great hotel with very nice staffs. I booked a VIP room and it's 5x nicer than the rooms at Sheraton or New World (in HCMC) which cost about twice as much. The hotel is not within walking distance of the old quarter, but taxi cab costs about 2-3 dollars... more

I read bad reviews of this hotel and i must say it is not as bad as it sounds I learned that it used to be sleazy and much worse but now it is family owned and they are trying to make it be again a good business hotell ROOMS: they are spacious, clean and you can't hear noise from... more

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my wife during a recent holiday to Hanoi. The hotel is clean, courteous staff, good food (although the price is a bit on the high side). I suggest that you bring US Dollars as prices (even at roadside stalls) in Vietnam are quoted primarily in USD. You will stand to lose... more

A 3-4 star hotel with a decent room and internet connection. The "spa" is a little seedy with the masseurs in miniskirts and the casino adds to the sleaze. And yes, I get woken up at 6am each morning by the terribly noisy honking traffic of Hanoi. Certainly 1 of the noisiest cities in the world. more

This hotel is quite comfortable. I was there on business. Service was good overall and they were helpful in arranging for a private half day tour of Hanoi. Rooms are nice size and clean. Carpet was fresh on the non-smoking floor where I stayed. Buffet breakfast is good, though a bit limited. I had the 1st floor buffet, not the... more

My wife and I stayed at the Fortuna for 5 nights in March 2008 whilst on holidays. The hotel is good with comfortable rooms, varied breakfast, helpful reception and lobby staff, 3 restaurants on site, extensive gym, massage etc and a casino. It is all you would want from a 4 star hotel. However there are some aspects that visitors... more

Bad location, situated far from eating areas and tourist attractions. Very highly priced after adding in rates which are not mentioned. Most hotels in Hanoi are clean despite low ratings. more

I stayed 3 nights at Fortuna Hotel from 25th to 28th July on my businees trip. I stayed in their standard room on the 8th floor. Things to highlight: 1) Rather big hotel 2) Room was on standard size 3) Noisy all the time as the noise from busy street came through between window frame and window. 4) Bed, bathroom,... more

we stayed at the Fortuan Hotel twice while in Hanoi, both times we had a comfortable and clean room. On christmas night they had a christmas party and all the guests were invited, it was a great night with lots of food and plenty of christmas cheer and wine! The staff are all friendly and helpful, they also helped us... more

I have stayed here for 3 weeks while on business and was occupying a premier room where the rooms are large and comfortable. The room comes with a 42-inch LCD TV and a large Jacuzzi bathtub too. The staff were very helpful. If there is a problem, they try to fix it as soon as possible. For instance, they apologized... more
