Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Upon arrival I was greeted by their friendly staff. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious. The food served during breakfast was OK. Overall, I had a nice stay in this hotel. Would definitely stay in this hotel again when I go back to Hanoi.

Hoa Binh is good value for money. The rooms are clean, as are the bathrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. We turned up & realised we had booked for march instead of February!! But they were very quick to help us out & find us a room. They don't try to sell their own tours, or push specific tailors... More

This hotel has a great location and friendly staff. Breakfast with good variety and the old style building atmosphere make this a very pleasant and good value hotel. The staff try to make guests comfortable and everything works well. Just outside in the same building is an upscale coffee shop and a night club. There are many restaurants in the... More

we booked a double room online for 3 days, and ended up staying 5 more. we were greeted with smiling faces from the kind staff, they upgraded us to a huge room with 2 double beds, a balcony, air con, a desk, a tv, and a bathroom with a desperate shower area! (unlike other Vietnamese bathrooms where the shower is... More

Placed in a perfect position you can enjoy from here the heart of Hanoi skipping most of the noise. Charming building and impeccable service, good food and reasonable prices. Award yourself with a "superior" room, standard rooms are cosy but tiny. When in Hanoi I will sleep here forever

Have just returned from 6 nights in Hanoi and originally we were going to book a very expensive and beautiful Hotel outside of the Old Quarter. We're very glad that we went with this hotel as it was all part of the "real Hanoi" adventure. If you want flash American style accommodation, this is not for you. The service was... More

For a night or two in Hanoi this was an ok hotel. My room was clean and generally felt pretty safe. It is quite well located in old Hanoi so easy to walk from to see old buzzing Hanoi. The street it faces is busy 24h a day, so don't expect any quiet time in room if you're facing the street... More

This is an old French Colonial hotel which has been lovingly restored. It looks like a very wealthy businessman's mansion, but given the room configuration, it may have been an original hotel. Pleasant surprise. We were upgraded to an executive suite on the first floor, which was absolutely fabulous: in UK it would be considered 5-star. High ceilings, lots and... More

I stayed at this hotel for four nights since I had a conference on the other side of the street. The hotel feels like you have been transferred 30 years back to french colonial times. It also looks that way, old and in need to a refurbishment. The rooms are quite small but have everything you need (except mine was... More
