the Stars Hotel in hanoi was an excellent hotel and a great value. For the hotel itself was fantastic. Our stay at the Stars Hotel was very nice and everything went smoothly. Definetly one of the best hotels we had in Vietnam (March 2011)! Ended up leaving this place and going down the road where for $5 more the room was far superior. The photos are from 15 years ago, and nothing has been updated since. We had one of the cheaper rooms (we were put in there from another Guesthouse that was full - but at a discounted price) so for what we paid we were quite pleased. We stayed for 2 nights and wished we had stayed longer.We paid $18 for a large double room with balcony including breakfast.We had TV,fridge,A/C,bath and shower and free internet in room with computer.
