Overall nice hotel. Our bathrooms sink was clogged, the hot water lasted 2 minutes and the heater didnt work. Staff were very friendly and helpful. More

We stayed here one night pre and one night post our Halong Bay overnight cruise as part of our Contiki tour of Vietnam. Our first room was very spacious with 2 queen size beds & small sitting area whereas our next room was a lot smaller and the door hit the bed if you opened it too far. The rooms... More

The main advantage is really the location : you can walk to the Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Streets, the Cathedral, plenty of restaurants and shops... We had a Deluxe room (the best category) on the seventh floor, with view on the back of the building : it was quiet. On the other side of thebuilding (front side), you get... More

Staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were on the small side, but for $40USD a night, we were really impressed, and didnt spend much time in our room anyway. The rooms had everything you could need and expect from a hotel charging twice the price, including free wifi. The location was perfect, a short walk to the lake, and... More

Bao Khanh is close to the lake, part of the old town and conveniently placed for restaurants and a supermarket. The staff could not do enough for us and our tours booked through the hotel were all that was promised. Taxis and luggage storage available when needed as well as lots of advice. Breakfast was not as good as some... More

My friend stayed here 6 nights and loved it. Location was fabulous- close to banks, loads of eating places particularly in nearby street. Also close to lake and winding streets of old quarter. Our room was huge- included 2 double beds and a 5 seater couch. Ensuite and shower was good size and clean. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. We... More

This is not a three star hotel. Small rooms are extremely overpriced. Larger rooms are OK but not really worth the price. The best thing with Bao Khanh is its perfekt location with St. Joseph's Cathedral and Hoan Kiem Lake just a couple of streets away and the old quarter within walking distance. Breakfast is good, especially if you like... More

Only 2 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake; and 10 minutes walk to the famous Thang Long Water Puppet Theater. The hotel is located in the famous Old Quarters area. Very easy to do shopping and to get food. The room is clean and very comfortable. They have coffee/tea kettle in the room but unfortunately they forgot to put tea... More

My friend and I took a weekend shopping trip to Hanoi from Hong Kong, and we stayed here. For under $30US with breakfast included, I don't think I could ask for much more. We stayed on the eighth floor. The room had a bit of an "older" feel to it which I liked, as it had a bit of character... More
