Good location which is near to ben tanh market and other attractions in central HCM. I tried the pho and bread+omelette for breakfast and I prefer the bread+omelette more. The hotel is well situated on Bui Vien - good backpacker area with excellent shopping. It is also only a 10 minute walk to the market and central HCMC. The breakfast was excellent each day and free internet made life alot easier. The staff were pleasant and helpful in all respects. more
I would like to commend on your staff Vicky and Smiley for delivering excellent service beyond my expectations. My first visit to HCMC and received a 5 star service! I will definetely stay at Saigon Mini5 again! more
would have like to stay longer but no suitable availability. Will return and will recommend. Free wifi as well as lobby internet, very clean, very friendly staff and joy of joys - a softer than usual (for Vietnam) bed AND an elevator ! more

Great value hotel run by only a few staff. The security guys doubled up as waiters and porters, the receptionists doubled up as waitresses in the morning, the housekeepers and the cooks were one and the same. LOCATION: In the backpacker's district, 10-15mins walk from Ben Thanh Market. Bui Vien isn't a wide, bustling avenue so it wasn't that busy/noisy. The hotel isn't located on a side street/alley either. Reviews of other hotels located in such alleys said they preferred those since they were more quiet. Stayed here for three nights with my girlfriend. Clean comfotable rooms with aircon and hot water. The omlette at breakfast was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. All up, this was a great value stay. more
