Stayed at the metropole for 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised when we were given a free upgrade to a suite upon arrival (from the superior deluxe). Hotel Metropole in general is average, you pretty much need to take a taxi to most locations in the 1st Dist. The rooms are small but updated they do have a small gym and pool.
