The hotel was conveniently located near the shopping areas, Ben Than market was about 10 mins away. Plenty of scooters willing to bring you around for about USD 1. The breakfast at the hotel was rather dissapointing especially since I've read some good reviews about it. I'd suggest skipping the breakfast buffet and heading to the local markets for a... more

This hotel had a friendly staff and nice lobby. It was very centrally located , half a block to the Rex. My room was an inner room, and there were a couple of windows but not much light. The one good thing about that is I didn't get any street noise whatsoever. The breakfast buffet was really good, one of... more

Travel agent recommended this Hotel ( Rex was booked out - now I'm pleased it was!). Twin room was huge, and at back of Hotel was quiet. Excellent service from housekeeping. Though Hotel was fully booked, they went out of their way to organise a room for late check out for our group and provided copious fresh towels. Great position... more

Arrived at the end of Tet to find that the road outside the hotel was full of flowers with lots of families enjoying the party atmosphere. Surprisingly, my room was very quiet but I doubt if that was the case for any of the front lying rooms. There were also rumours that some of the rooms were without windows, but... more

I stayed here on 2 separate occasions. On both occasions I was put in a room without windows. I felt like I was staying in a closet. Breakfast and location ok. I would NOT stay there again. Booked using Asiarooms.com, not sure I got a good rate. more

I really liked this hotel. The room was large and clean. The staff very friendly and efficient. It has a good location. Laundry was super quick with the standard service taking only a few hours before it was returned. Breakfast was varied. Didn't try the pool so can't comment more

Very good location and great breakfast (pancakes are a must). Large and clean rooms but some times noisy. Have a look on swimmingpool done just for one people (1m*10m !). Lobby bit too goldish. Internet in business center, almost the time free more

This was my third stay at the Kimdo, it's at a great location near Don Khoi in district one, serves a great breakfast and has great service from the staff. The internet service in the room is wired, and has always been very reliable for me. Wireless is not accessible in the room, but is free downstairs and in numerous... more

The hotel was very well located within District 1 and within walking distance of all things to do there. It is a 4 star hotel by Vietnam standards which as we realised is 3 star by world standards. We stayed there for 4 nights. The decor is quite cheap. One night we had mud coming through our taps when we... more

Stayed for 3 nights late July. Great location Paid $78US for a deluxe room with breakfast through a VN internet travel site which I thought was good value. Staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast plentiful. Only criticism dont book for the pool which is small and tucked away on a lower floor would suggest they would be better not... more
