This seemed like a nice hotel. But we did not end up spending the night. The bathtub leaked and flooded the bathroom. We would have tolerated that. Stayed for two nights, and it was very pleasant. Nice comfortable large bed, and large bathroom. The location is in a quiet part of Hue yet a 5 minute walk to the restaurants. The family that run is are sweet. Would stay again.

Ancient is relative, but the house certainly is old and has beautiful rooms with wonderful wooden floors, nicely decorated closets, beds and windows. The staff is friendly and helpful. The seem to have only a few rooms, but still offer better service than some of the big hotels. Though they have a sort of travel agency they don't try to push anything and are extremely helpful. We were allowed to put our bicycles we were traveling with inside at night

We spent a couple of days at Ancient House and we enjoyed it a lot. Ideal location, nice and charming villa, very good breakfast and to add to this perfection, kind and helpful staff. We won’t forget our stay.

The best hotel in Vietnam so far. When entering the hotel, you directly feel the personal and friendly atmosphere. The rooms are very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The interieur is relaxing. Free WIFI and good breakfast is included. And with $ 35 a more than reasonable price for this. Recommendation!!!
