This hotel isn't a 3-star hotel as advertised. The rooms we got were old and there were big stains on the carpet. Also the bathrooms looked very outdated and not very clean. not a nice hotel. It is huge and absolutely not cozy. The rooms are really huge we had two pieces - a bedrom and a living room in one room, but there are tiles on the floor and plastic coaches in the "living room". The bathroom is old and durty looking. Hai Yen Hotel is in a great location opposite an excellent beach. Keep walking in either direction along the beach and you will find good restaurants and cafes. Spacy rooms, not really modern but god enough. Hotel is along the boulevard with many restaurants and bars. Food good. Close to city centre. Beaches are very nice and quiet. We booked the 4 islands trip, great scenery and great entertainment with live music and floating bar. more

The only positive thing about this hotel is the spacious room. Everything else was terrible. The service was not good, there were mosquitoes in the bathroom, and the bathroom toilet was leaking water. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. more
