This was my first trip to Baku. The Hotel Crescent Beach was referred to me by a trusted colleague. I really wanted a quiet spot on the sea coast, but close enough to the city to be able to get into town and walk around a bit. Hotel Crescent Beach was perfect. We had a nice experience all around.

Set up everything easily over email through Mr. Roman Bespalov, who was very friendly and responsive (if anyone wants contact information, send me a message and I will gladly provide). Also helped to arrange ground transport from the airport to the hotel (at $25/person, which is pretty reasonable considering it's a good 45-minute ride from the airport down to the hotel). The hotel's representative and driver, Misha, met us at the airport with a sign. He was extremely friendly and helpful, telling us about Baku and the area during our ride to the hotel and giving us good advice. Checking into the hotel was quick and easy.
