This is a truly awful hotel: shabby, tired and overpriced, The location is also dreadful for Dhaka's increasingly gridlocked traffic. I stayed here for 9 nights on business, and wouldn't go near it again, especially with more choice now (an excellent Radisson near the airport) and a newish Westin). I have had better internet connections at one star guest houses.... more

Been there in Sept 09 for 3nights for bsuiness visit to Dhaka. It is over-priced hotel with amenities of 3-star hotel. Rooms seem to have smelly generation old carpet, AC does not switch off, central electrical module does not work, Internet is worse than a dialup connection in a village and so on... Stayed many times in this hotel on business travel. Can not think of any bad experiance. Rooms and wash room is comparitively small. Bed and pillow are very soft and comfy. Food is good particularly in the Ethnic restaurant. A good option for stay in Dhaka. more

Well, there are mosquitoes everywhere in Bangladesh, even in the taxis. But they should not be in the lobby of the hotel. I had to swat at several mosquitoes while I was trying to check in. The hotel lobby looks like something from the 70s. The rooms had bare floors and the view was of the street full of rickshaws... more

Dhaka Sheraton was a nice hotel, Secured and good hospitality hotel. I would love to stay there again if i happen to go there again more
