Very good hotel, clean and all staff very nice and friendly. Pretty good location. Excellent breakfast. At least it's not a boring Intercontinental or Hilton or any boring characterless hotels like them. I like places I stay to be old and have something about them. If I am lucky enough to take another trip to Bangladesh I would stay here... More

had to move into this hotel from another hotel due to two days of strikes in the city and the conference I was attending was held there. And it was a great decision - no regrets. The hotel is like an oasis in a desert of noise and chaos of Dhaka. the facilities were great; fantastic service, excellent food. one... More

Staff very kind and helpful. I was here two years ago and they still remembered me and what I was here for! Food in the three restaurants is excellent. Pool is nice. Only drawback is location in the city: far from Gulshan, Banani expats and embassies areas where nice international bars, restaurants and shops are (Dhaka is a place where... More

Ruposhi Bangla Hotel. I was never really keen on spending anytime at this property even thought I have there numerous times in my childhood. It is Dhaka’s first 5 star hotel and started off independently before InterContinental Hotels Group (1973) started managing the property. It is the most historical hotel in Bangladesh as it was around during the liberation war.... More

Yup, i said it up there. I don't know much about the rooms, but the buffet is amazing every night a new range of delicacies from around the world. 2200 Taka per person but truly worth it. The place is clean and service is top class. If gastronomy is you're middle name, you gotta visit the place.
