The room was fine and it was definitely clean but had no windows which was kinda creepy. The bathroom was sprayed with air freshener on arrival but stunk after a few hours. The TV was way too far away from the bed or seats to be seen and the tube was blown so the colour was crap. The bed was... more

Pleasant enough staff. Plenty of rooms with no windows and some with barred windows. Health and safety not a great selling point. Good views of the river from public balconies. Rooms at front noisy as hotel is right on the road. Room clean enough. Well placed fro restaurants, onward travel etc more

Got this hotel when we arrived on the bus from Siem Reap. The smell in the place was pretty awful, drains, I guess. Bed was comfy but we had no hot water. Reported and told it would be fixed the next morning but when we arrived back from sight-seeing still no hot water. They offered us another room but that... more

I had a disagreement in another hotel on the river so I went shopping for a new room in the area. After reviewing several locations I chose Mekong Palace. I stayed on the fourth floor in the back away from the noise (my request). The room is basic but kept clean. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location... more

My friend and I booked this hotel two days in advance through hostelworld.com. I emailed the hotel directly as soon as I received the booking confirmation email from hostelworld to arrange the free airport pick-up advertised on their website. I had not heard a reply by the day of our flight so we rang them and gave them our name... more

We were shown a window-less room on 4th floor which was still in old shape unlike the 5th floor that seemed to have just been redone entirely. We opted a quiet room on 5th floor and the room was clean and quiet as it wasn't fronting busy street/river. We couldn't sleep however as there seemed to be rats rattling around... more

Just came back from staying at this hotel in January 2009. Just like previous review we also had a reservation for a private balcony room for $30 USD per night. On arrival they wanted to charge us £35 USD without balcony. They then informed us that they didn't have any private balcony rooms available and then after some dispute they... more

I reserved a room 2 weeks before arrival. I reserved a "Room with Balcony" for $30 USD per night. When I arrived I was told that I can have a room with a balcony for $35 USD. Or a room without a balcony, but a window for $30 USD. I chose the $30 USD room. After the first night, they... more
