No quibbles with the room: decent AC, wifi, flatscreen TV and comfy bed. Having read the previous review i now understand that the indifferent staff is just a cultural thing. I initially thought they were the most miserable Cambodians i'd ever met, but they're Chinese is all. The annoying thing for me was the almost constant noise throughout the day.... More

This is not a place for pretentious travelers to stay. The rooms are tiny, the TV's in most the rooms are old, and the signal is poor (too much splicing). The WiFi can be weak in certain areas, and cellular service is poor. I prefer to stay in budget places because I'd rather spend my money on good food and... More

Indochine Hotel's location is excellent, right on the Riverside next to all the bars and restaurants and a short walk to the Royal Palace and the Night Market. I paid $12 for a clean room with air con, fan, comfortable bed, wifi, hot shower and cable TV, which comes in handy if you are traveling alone and taking the precautions... More

We normally stay at the Mekong Palace Hotel when we overnight in Phnom Penh, but this time the Mekong Palace was under renovation so we had to look for an alternative. The Hotel Indochine was a great find. Cheap, clean and friendly service. The old matriach who runs the place was a delightful, friendly and cheerful Chinese Teochew lady who... More

Stayed here my last night in Phnom Penh. Right on Riverside, it was nice to be in the heart of it all and just be able to walk back to my hotel after the night markets or during the day. For $10 a night, I have no complaints and was able to get a hot shower (tiny bathrooms though), air... More

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in Janurary 2012. $12 for a room with aircon. The wifi was decent, bed was comfy, however the bathroom was nothing amazing. The hot water never quite got hot. The only real downfall was no window to the outside, making it hard for your body to guage what time it was.... More

Went there hoping for better quality. Quite pricy for poor room, not so clean, stoneage tv, noisy, average staff and tasteless breakfast. You can find better in the area, sure

Not much more to say. We stayed in the 12$ windowless room. Clean, comfortable and helpful staff. You step outside on the riverfront.

We arrived here not having a reservation and were offered two different rooms. One big one with 2 double beds and a balcony with a view on the river for 25 $ and one box room with a medium size bed for 10$. Both equiped with air con and private bathroom. We went for the 10$ room and were happy... More
