Well, what do you expect.. Phnom Penh is not the worlds most fashionable city, and neither is its accomodation. This hotel is nothing special, but our experience with it was not as bad as some of the other reviews. We had a rather small and dull room, nothing thrilling about it, but it was clean. The staff was polite and... more

I went for the superior room at $10 more than the double deluxe, this room is only superior for 2 reasons: 1. It has a dated hairdryer 2. It a couple of sq ft bigger At $46 per night I was thankful I only stayed 1 night.at this very old and urgently in need of updating hotel: Complaints as follows:... more

Stayed here in November 2007 the hotel was dirty, there was no breakfast as the we left at 6:30 am and they did not pack us anyas they said they would. There were strange stains, the smell of mold and other unknown smells, and there was trash in the room. Personally I would say skip going to the city at... more

This hotel is generally okay if you are not a fussy person. I booked a twin sharing hotel room and stayed there for 4 nights. Although there are no windows in the hotel room, it's equipped with a bathroom with bath tub, air conditioner, cable tv, lifts which are functioning, etc. It comes with breakfast which is pretty okay and... more

This hotel is utterly charmless. It's in a blah location and has ugly rooms. With such a wide array of choices in the $30 price range, I am sorry I booked my one night stay here. I was in a hurry when I made the booking and it sounded okay. more

If you do not have vehicle, this hotel is a good choice, since it is located in the city area and central market. Remember Phnom Penh do not have taxi, so the only choice is rent car or take motorcycle taxi. Hotel is clean and breakfast serve in western and asian. more

The hotel is on a very busy and noisy street. When I arrived at the reception the employee who received me said I had no reservation without even looking for it. He gave me a room but I think he charged me double on my credit card, he looked at me several times when using the machine. The room was... more

We booked our 2 night stay over the internet, under the impression that the hotel was centrally located and we were specifically looking for a hotel with a gym. Following the unfriendly reception staff checking us in, we took the extremely slow and small lift to our floor, only to find that we were given a room with twin beds,... more

I've just finished my trip in Cambodia. I stayed at New York Hotel for one night and I think that it should not be rated 3-star hotel. It should be lower. Compared to the 3-star hotel that I stayed during this trip in Siem Reap, standard room at New York Hotel is very very small. Restaurant where I had my... more
