This is a very good hotel with a very friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are spacious and clean, wifi is slow but free, breakfast is in the adjacent restaurant. No question about that. And when you have been walking the streets, or coming back from the killing fields, it is a relaxed, friendly, quiet and nice place to stay. What... more

We stayed here two nights in august. The hotel is very nice, well located in the heart of the city, very close to restaurants and bars along the river and 5 minutes walk from the Royal Palace and National Museum; just outside the hotel door there are many tuk tuk. The hotel entrance is very stylish with wooden floor and... more

We stayed in the Amanjaya for our first two nights in Cambodia and Phnom Penh. It is set just on the Quay in a great location for local attractions, bars and restaurants. We had a deluxe room with a view over the main road junction on the Quay which sounds awful but was actually quite cool. One of our favourite... more

We loved this hotel. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated and unique!! Our room had a large seating area and a balcony. Staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast was included in our room rate - it's great! The best breakfast we had during our trip. Free internet available in all rooms - they charge... more

We stayed here for 2 nights by default as were supposed to be in The Pavillion, chosen for gorgeous pool. Major disappointment as were were 2 families with 4 teenagers travelling at THE hottest time of the year, however the Amanjaya was really lovely. ( We ended up swimming at the Billabong Hotel for 5US$ p/p - although not the... more

The Amanjaya hotel is located right on the banks of the Mekong river and right in the centre of it all. There is a lovely temple over the road and it is a great place to sit on the balcony and watch Phnom Penh go by. Most attractions are within walking distance, we never felt like we needed to get... more

Having read the lonely planet guide to Cambodia Phnom Penh was on our must do list as somewhere we wanted to go to in order to explore the recent history of the country, and we knew that some of our experiences there visiting the 'killing fields' and 'S21' were going to be traumatic. There were also some reservations as to... more

We stayed here for one night because all of the lower priced hotels were booked. At $130 it was 4x what some other hotels with good reviews charged. Having said that, the rooms are beautiful, huge, and luxurious. I'm not sure I've ever had a nicer hotel room (though I must admit I am a budget traveler). The location could... more

My wife and I cannot say enough about Cambodia. The sights, culture, people, history, and food are amazing. I encourage you to visit if at all possible. We stayed at the Amanjaya and loved every minute of it. I understand the hotel is at the very high end price-wise, but we had no complaints. The room was VERY nice -... more
