This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in Asia. I found a WHITE STAINS IN MY BED!!! I won't spell out what it was... The staff were the rudest off all the people I met in Cambodia. An example of their unhelpfulness was that the electricity was flickering in our room. I had to call reception twice &... more

Well having read some previous reviews, we were pleasantly suprised. A clean and well presented Hotel reasonably priced. All staff were very friendly and helpful and we had no issues what so ever. Breakfast had good range of food for all tastes. - Cambodia doesn't seem to have any good Bacon though!!! Pool was nice although it was windy the... more

We stayed at the Phnom Penh Hotel at the recommendation of a friend. The location was great, it was lakeside, on Monivong Blvd, so it was convenient to the sights, lots of available tuk tuks out front, and walking distance to the little bars and restaurants of the backpacking world if you wanted a cheap beer and English speaking company.... more

Both Phnom Penh (PP) Hotel and Raffles Hotel Le Royal were on Monivong Boulevard, about 200 meters apart. PP Hotel overlooked the Boeng Kak Lake. PP Hotel had 400 rooms in a square 6-storey building with an open courtyard in the center, where the swimming pool was. Rooms were either pool-view or outside-view. On the ground floor were the Reception,... more

Excellent value for buffet breakfast and lunch too, one of the best I have encountered for a long time. My room was very dark made worse by the dark brown wooden fixtures and fittings and the window was in dire need of cleaning. Having said that the staff were very friendly and helpful and could not be faulted. Cambodia is... more

Recently stayed for a night (quite long enough) .The hotel itsself was clean and quite good value but all the staff we came into conact with were distinctly unhelpful and unfriendly. Everything seemed to be too much trouble for them and it is the only hotel I have ever stayed in where I felt so uncomfortable.Couldn't leave quickly enough. more

Another hotel with mixed reviews, but once again I was pleasantly surprised. It looks like the hotel has undergone some renovations in recent times, which might explain why many of the negative reviews were written some time ago. Overall I would rate this as a solid 4 star hotel with good facilities and above average rooms. Below are my pros... more

I liked the turkish baths and the massage area. Also though it had one of the best sushi-Japanese restaurants in Cambodia. The rooms are fairly standard and what you'd expect. more

I stayed here for a business trip: rooms are big and comfortable, bathrooms are well-equiped (especially the jacuzzi-bathtub). Buffet breakfast is huge! Staff speaks good english. I think it is ok for a business trip but for tourism, this hotel is too impersonnal to me. Plus, it is far from Sisowath Quay which is the main point of interest in... more

We arrived at the PP Hotel for one night waiting to fly out early the next morning. We booked 2 double beds on the Executive Floor for the family and it was lovely. The room was nice and renovated, and the Executive Floor food, drinks and friendly service put the Holiday Inn in Singapore to shame. Lots of choices and... more
