We stayed for 5 days in a private pool room which was certainly value for money. The main pool area and gardens with day beds make it a very relaxing place. Reception staff particularly Michele and Grace were very helpful. Breakfast was included and was a simple continental one with bread, jam, juice and tea and coffee. The was a mini... more

This 20-room facility located 100m from the Royal Palace was a great gem and perfect location. The architecture is an original combination of Khmer and French colonial styles and I am glad the owner restored this property instead of having it being destroyed for new development. I only had breakfast here but what was offered was tasty, plentiful and served... more

I stayed in Pavilion last Oct 17-19 with my wife. At first I hesitated to book on this hotel because of the earlier comments I read. I'm afraid that my stay here might be ruined because of poor customer service. Fortunately, its completely different and it turns out to be an awesome and wonderful stay. All the staff in the... more

This was great hotel! I have read some of the earlier comments/complaints so I will spend a little time addressing them. Staff: We dealt with a number of front desk, grounds keepers, bar staff and cleaners during our three day stay. They were ALL very friendly. The front desk was very helpful with directions, arranging services, and quick with all... more

I had read the reviews of many of the properties in town, and selected the Pavilion with a little trepidation due to some of the comments left by a minority of posters here for this otherwise #1 hotel in PP per tripadvisor. I was pleasantly surprised to find my experience was like the vast majority of posters here: completely pleasant.... more

The Pavilion was perfect in all respects. I stayed three nights. The room and bathroom were clean with a nice selection of amenities. I ate several meals at the Pavilion. The food was well prepared and the presentation was excellent. Too, the hotel was well located for visiting the city. The swimming pool provided a pleasant respite after the heat... more

it was a great experience and wonderful to shut out the streets at night! Loved all about it. Staff a reception were wonderful and no expats at the pool. In fact, we had it all to ourselves! I will definately come here again! more

This is a really beautiful hotel. Both the rooms and the pool/bar area are really nice and pleasant. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was a little snobby for our taste. As has been mentioned in previous reviews, the reception staff could not have cared less about the guests. They were so uninterested when asked a question (or when providing necessary information) that... more

A meeting was organized last week with the cleaners about the writing on the clothes as it already happened before. I will follow this through and hope it does not happen again. As for the reception, it is currently being re-staffed and I hope we finally solve this ongoing issue!

sourced hotel from trip advisor I haven't commented on trip advisor before but I really thought should after my stay here. I had a super stay from start to finish. I was working in the city for a week. I was taken care of from the minute I was picked up from the airport. The hotel is a relaxing pocket... more

Stayed for 2 nights with my partner and it is a lovely secluded hideaway from the busy bustling streets of Phnom Penh. The pool area is lovely and very relaxing and the building is beautiful. However we found our room to be quite dim and the bathroom narrow. The pressure from the shower was also quite hopeless. There was no... more

There are no crematories in Phnom Penh since last year's law - and there were no cremations close to the Pavilion even before the law. What is being called a "crematory" in this review is Phnom Penh's Royal Pagoda Wat Botum, one of the major monuments of Cambodian Royalty. I am said that this historical pagoda would put people off.......
