We sat down at the street-level restaurant for a quick drink and meal. There seemed to be three or four waitstaff working in periodic shifts of about five minutes each. Eventually we received menus and eventually someone took our order. The drinks came but after thirty minutes or so we were still waiting for the food. The place was not... More

Old but classic hotel. Lovely big room - clean & well appointed. Other reviewers have mentioned terrible towels - they were polyester so useless. However, when I asked for cotton towels we got them. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They were all very young, with poor (or no) English so struggled to understand our requests. Having said that, we... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is great, at the river, next to the royal palais. The hotel is outdated, but nice athmospfere is ok. The rooms are classic and spacious with fridge and tv. We had a room at the backside and the wifi was very poor. I think rooms at the front are suffering from traffic noise.... More

With a great location and $35 per night (not cheap compared to other hotels in Penh), we hoped to have a decent experience. However, it's way far from what we expected. The room was old, smelly; AC didn't work correctly, and furniture was even torn part. Not just that, the towels were made of cheap fabric that couldn't absorb any... More

Stayed at this hotel for most of my stay in Cambodia, approximately 3 weeks total, November and December 2012. The staff were very friendly and helpful to my wife and me. Everyone was very attentive and professional. The owner of this hotel was in the middle of remodeling the lobby and restaurant areas during my stay. I thought the work... More

Well worth a visit, yes the decor is not up to date and the breakfast is basic but the views from the roof top dining room and your room if you pay the riverside supplement make it well worth it. Treat yourselves to a meal at the FCC which is a short walk from the hotel and it is like... More

The room was dirty and smelt very bad, the bathroom looked as if had never been cleaned. Suspicious stains everywhere... Generally I was afraid to touch anything. There are some reparation works going on but saw only the construction works, but no sign of renovated area. Free wifi and internet at least:)

For the 5th time i stayed at the Khmeroyal Hotel. Not only for the reasonable rates but also the friendly and helpfull staff. I complained about a slow aircondioning and at once the manager offered me a firstclass room at the FCC hotel next door!! That's service !!
