Loved this place. Unfortunately we only stayed one night!! Family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids aged 7 and 9). Huge room was a joy. Agree with the other reviewers that the bathroom wasn't particularly lush, but it certainly was clean and more than adequate. This is such a small thing when looking at the big picture of a... more

Thank you very much for this feedback. The maintenance team is now working their way out to re apply the white cements that ran out of the tiles, which looked like dark spots.

Beautiful hotel in the center of Phnom Penh. It's on walking distance of the Independance Monument. The reception is in a historical villa, and the rooms are set up in a row in a lush garden at the back of the villa. The big plus of the Kabiki is the lush garden and the pool. The pool is filled with... more

We've previously stayed at the Himawari but needed to trim the budget this visit. I was very pleased with the Kabiki. The location is great, it's peaceful, green and the staff are very friendly. It is ideal for families. One reviewer commented about walking down a dark road - we found the road well lit. We stayed in room 11... more

The Kabiki Hotel is a really lovely hotel with very polite staff. The room we stayed in (Deluxe Double - No 5) was huge and had a small courtyard in front and was a bargain at only $65 per night! The continental breakfast is nice (a simple plate of 3 types of breads with marmalade, choice of eggs, juice and... more

Stayed at the Kabiki for two nights in October, upon arrival we were not met by anyone and felt a little uncomfortable until I discovered the reception. Booking in was ok and the room was very good. Fridge was not working and dispite requesting a new one or a repair, this did not happen. Overall feel of the place was... more

We stayed here for 1 night in order to reach our flight in time. The bungalows was nicely decorated. There was even a bunk bed tucked in the corner in case you have kids with you. The important thing was that it was clean. There is also a safe in the rooms. The pool was a delight in the soaring... more

I stayed for only one day before leaving for one of the provinces. I will just note my impressions. (a) Access was a bit cumbersome - there's a security post on the road leading to the hotel and the cab driver says sometimes, they refuse entry to cabs. Apparently, the road leads to the private residence of the most VIP... more

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at the Kabiki in the end of July. We had a very pleasant stay. From our arrival, we booked a tuk tuk to pick us up at the airport, the driver was nice and spoke a good English. Lucky we had him because the Kabiki is located in a private lane, closed to... more

You know how photographs on a hotel's website typically showcase the best side and are at times deceiving? Not The Kabiki. The photos on their website show it as it is: - clean, - great atmosphere (quiet, nicely decorated, large, good ventilation, great pool, pretty decent breakfast, beach holiday environment) - helpful staff (one took his motorbike out at 11pm... more

Given it is the same owner to the Pavilion, and the price is also another 30% more, one would naturally expect Kabiki to be better, if not, at least as good as the Pavilion. If that is what you think, you will surely be disappointed. The location is just around the corner from the Pavilion (but you cannot drive into... more

Thank you for your comment. We appreciate your feedback which give us the good information to continue to improve service at the Kabiki. Given that Le Pavillon charges between US$ 40 and 85 per night, the Kabiki is exactly in the same price range for similar accommodation (between US$ 50 and 75). Main difference is a much bigger garden (3.500...
