We stayed one night at the Villa Langka because there was no room at our preferred hotel. Because I am comparing the Villa Langka to our other hotel in Phnom Penh, I would not recommend it because the Villa Langka was not as nice, but more expensive. We paid $66 per night (compared to only $50 at a better hotel).... more

Arrival at night was a bit of a shock as the hotel is tucked down an unlight side street that looked a bit seedy, but not so bad in the sunshine next day. Hopes were high as we dragged our cases round the very pleasant pool area with breakfast / dining tables and sunloungers, but the room was dissapointing. The... more

The Villa Langka is a cute little hotel near the Independence Monument which offers a quiet place to lounge around by the pool, great service and great food. All rooms are different, I've stayed in 2 different ones and have seen 2 others where my friend stayed in. Most of the rooms can be dark, but always with a good... more

Overall, I had an excellent stay at the Villa Langka. I stayed for nearly 4 weeks in this sweet, intimate and clean guest house near the Independence Monument. The staff were kind and gentle and helpful. English was limited but enough was spoken to share important information. I stayed in 3 different rooms during my stay, two singles and 1... more

We stayed at the Villa Langka for 2 nights. A nice place to stay. Very beautiful. Calm. Green. Very relaxing. It was unlike staying at a 5-star hotel, which we preffer. Had a very tropical feel to it. We had booked a suite...very spacious, big bed, bathroom was ok, could have been done in a better way...but a bit over... more

We spent the first two nights of a two week trip here in February and enjoyed our stay. Yes the rooms are in need of a bit of updating, but as a place to stay I think they are adequate. The location is great - a short tuk tuk ride to the main restaurants - and it is in a... more

Let me start by saying that I am somewhat loathe to provide negative feedback about this place. It has many things going for it, including a lovely pool area and excellent front desk staff, who were both friendly and helpful. However, I must in all honesty agree with the previous reviewer about the condition of the suite room – it... more

Checked into Suite room #25 on 21st January 2009 and checked out again one hour later. The shower and bathroom was filthy and there was other peoples hair all over the floor. The main room floor (tiles) were filthy. Mosquito nets had huge gaps on all sides of the bed. The Air Conditioner did not work. I asked manager for... more

We stayed at the Villa Langka for 3 nights and really enjoyed it there. The building is beautiful with a great architecture, the staff is friendly and the pool is simply great - really a good place to relax a little from the noise and dirt of Phnom Pengh. The rooms are clean and very tastefully furnished. Breakfast is great... more

Having stayed at The Villa Langka 6 times during the last year I think that I have a good range of experiences at the hotel upon which to draw conclusions. Each of my stays have been for 5-7 days. Starting with the positive aspects of the Villa Langka, the most obvious is the beauty of the property. The hotel has... more
