Easily the best feature of this hotel is the setting. It is located by a man made, but nevertheless pleasant, beach on the lakeside between two mountain ranges which remain snow capped even in the height of summer.
The beach has good facilities and is by no means over developed or crowded. The lake is clean and clear.
The bedroom in the main building (there are also bungalows in the grounds) was light, airy with a mountain view. It was basic, a little faded but adequate. The walls were plain white and the floor linoleum. Our bed was comfortable and there was ample storage space. The bathroom was functional, tiled in white.
We had to choose how to use the one power point, either the fridge or the tv! This was made easy by the tv not working and paramount need to keep our drinks cool.
As is the surviving soviet habit, there was no wash basin plug so bring your own.
Our dinner and breakfast were also reminiscent of soviet era rationing so...
