The hotel says its a 10 minute walk from the city center but I don't know how they defined the city center because it didn't take 10 minutes to get there. We had to take a tuktuk everytime to get anywhere. We arrived at night and the room was full of mosquitoes, we had to ask for bug spray every time before leaving the room. They claim a riverside view, and yes they do have it, but the view is marred by their "Live Music" restaurant by the river's edge which had us listening to the singer over loudspeakers both nights we were there til about 11pm. The bathroom has a shower spout that aims into the toilet, or the door depending on which way you direct it. For US$35/night, you are better off looking for something that's really near the city center. more
