We had been travelling around SE Asia for a month by the time we reached Vientiane and were keen to stay somewhere convenient and comfortable. Lao Heritage Hotel was the third hotel we looked at, and instantly we knew were onto a winner. All the staff, from the receptionists to the cleaners were extremely friendly and attentive, and the room was great - comfy bed, satellite tv, bathroom with separate shower enclosure, air-con and wifi (prepaid). We really appreciated the fact that the hotel was within walking distance to the city centre and riverfront, yet far enough away that we weren't subjected to street noise.
